What We Stand For

Black Interactive is a student-run club creating space for Black students within IMA, ITP, IDM, and related creative tech fields. We celebrate Black identity, amplify our stories, and reflect on our experiences within our programs and NYU at large. Our mission is to document and honor Black contributions to arts and technology by providing a platform showcasing contemporary artists and introducing the next generation of digital innovators to new possibilities.

Black Ecologies

As part of Black Ecologies: Land, Memory, and the More-than-Human, Black Interactive invites you to three hands-on workshops at The Arts Center on Governors Island. Each session offers a different way to engage with the exhibition's questions through making.

Who We Are

Black Interactive is a student-led community of Black students at NYU ITP/IMA & IDM who come together to create, connect, and support one another. Through art, technology, culture, and shared experiences, we build a space where Black students can collaborate, explore new ideas, and feel part of a creative community.
